Sustainable Finance Disclosures (SFDR)

In line with the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), we are required to inform you how sustainability factors are considered in our advisory process.

We will gather your preferences in relation to sustainable investing and incorporate these into the Statement of Suitability we prepare for you.

Sustainability factors refer to environmental, social, employee matters, respect for human rights, and anti‑corruption and anti‑bribery matters.

The investment and insurance‑based investment products we advise on are created by the Product Producers with whom we hold agencies. We rely on the SFDR disclosures and sustainability‑related information provided by these Product Producers when assessing products and advising you.

All product‑level Sustainable Finance Disclosures (including whether a product is classified as Article 6, 8 or 9) are prepared by the relevant Product Producer and are available in their product documentation, brochures, and pre‑contractual disclosures. We incorporate Article 8 and Article 9 funds (where available) into our house view investment offering. This is reviewed on an annual basis.

SFDR Article 8 / 9 Funds

Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) promotes environmental and / or social characteristics. Article 8 funds promote environmental and/or social characteristics as defined by SFDR. They focus on integrating Environmental, Social and governance factors into their investment strategies without necessarily committing to sustainable investments. Article 9 funds have a specific sustainable investment objective.

Principal Adverse Impacts

At this time, we do not consider the principal adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors when providing advice. This position is reviewed annually in line with regulatory developments and the availability of appropriate disclosures from Product Producers. The area of sustainability is relatively new and as the issue progresses, we will review our position.
